Christians at Pride Celebration Service
Join us for a special Pride Celebration Service on Saturday 5th July as we come together in faith, love and solidarity. Doors open at 1pm, with refreshments available before and after the service. Everyone is welcome, come as you are! Whether you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, or simply curious, you’ll find a warm and inclusive space here. Let’s celebrate diversity and the message that God’s love is for all.

Unified In Love Conference – 5th October
There are many churches and Christian communities dedicated to inclusion and justice, as central to the gospel of Christ. Now more than ever, we need to come toegther, stand by each other, and amplify each others’ message. Brought together by The Regeneration Project, 2:23, MCC, House of Rainbow and others, this day conference will focus on how we are active allies to each other: whether in matters of sexuality, gender, race, disability or other, we can and must be unified in love.
Membership Classes and Fellowship Sunday
Fellowship Sunday is on 6th October, when we celebrate the global Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, speaking up for inclusion and human rights and blessing same-sex relatinships and gender variation since 1968!
It’s also a day when we welcome new members into MCC North London. Membership classes on 1st and 8th September at 4pm, are a chance to find out more about MCC, our values, organisation, beliefs and work. Coming to classes doesn’t commit you to becoming a member, but if you want to join the membership roll and make a public commitment that this is the church to which you wish to belong, then you do need to come to both classes, so that you are fully informed about your decision – we’re all about free and informed consent here at MCCNL, in all things!
Worship this Sunday takes place at UK Black Pride.

Trinity URC have been welcoming hosts and partners in ministry for 25 years, and we are sorry that they have had to close.
But for us a new chapter is opening, as we move back to the church building we once worshipped in – and this time in the main worship space. Not only is it a spacious and well-equipped place, the church themsleves are delighted to welcome us, and partner with us in truly inclusive ministry.
The building is registered for same-sex weddings, as we have for so long wished. And we will still be doing the Cold Weather Shelter with C4WS.

Holy week at MCCNL
At Easter we have a series of events which take us through the Easter story, from Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday through to Easter Sunday resurrection.
Palm Sunday Picnic and Music – Sunday 2nd April 1pm-5pm.
Palm Sunday is a traditional time to take church out of the doors of the building and into the streets. We will gather in Regent’s Park near Gloucester Gate with a picnic to share, and musical instruments so we can sing and be joyful together, just like those crowds who gathered round Jesus as he approached Jerusalem. Come and eat and sing with us. In the event of rain we do have a gazebo!
Last Supper Meal -Thursday 6th April – 7pm.
There will be a full dinner, as well as a remembrance of the last supper Jesus shared with his friends, and all that happened on that evening. (Please confirm if you are coming, so we know how much to cook).
Stations of the Cross – Good Friday – 7th April 7pm.
A contemplative service contemplating the events of Jesus’ arrest, condemnation and crucifixion.
Exsultet and Easter Vigil – Saturday 8th April from 7pm.
Beginning with a short service celebrating the Light of Christ, we will sit in vigil, through the night, around the sanctuary dressed up as the garden tomb where Jesus body lay. There will be creative ways of prayer throughout the night, and usually deep conversation! Then at sunrise we share communion and eat breakfast together before going home to get some sleep before the excitement of…
