Pride in London this year is on Saturday 2nd July, and it is with joy that we are able to join in with marching and celebrating.
Pride March – This year we will join Christians Together at Pride in marching in the parade. Those who have a wristband to march with this group, we will gather at 1pm outside the Catholic church on Mount Street.
We will also have a group standing on the side offering a positive message of God’s love and affirmation of LGBTQI+ people.
Christians Together at Pride Service – Saturday 2nd July – 6pm, Bloomsbury Baptist Church. Speakers will be Rev Maureen Bailey, and Rev Peta Evans.
MCCNL Pride Service – Sunday 3rd July – 7pm at Trinity URC as usual.
MCCNL Pride Picnic – Sunday 17th July – 1pm onward, details tba.
Pride Month will be observed over the whole of July, with a sermon series focussing on Justice in Action.
Before church throughout July, starting at 4:30pm, we will have special sessions looking at the Bible, God and LGBT+, dealing with some of the pressing questions about what the Bible really has to say about sexuality and gender.
